Generative tools can accelerate the search for a creative direction, but a quickly generated first image does not necessarily lead to a quickly finished campaign. If a character changes between shots, the product no longer looks like the real thing or the logo needs manual repair, the time saved at the start disappears during revisions.

A man in a suit and sunglasses sits in a folding chair reading a newspaper, with a graffiti-covered car burning behind him on wet pavement in an industrial yard.

Production therefore needs a clear distinction between exploration and final execution. AI can help explore compositions, environments or initial storyboards. Where consistency, precise geometry, camera movement and adherence to brand guidelines matter, the artist and director retain control. A 3D scene provides a stable foundation: it can be adjusted, shot again with a virtual camera and adapted for new formats.

Choose tools after assessing the brief, the rights to source materials and the requirements for the finished work. A hybrid workflow can sometimes save time. In other cases, a live-action shoot or conventional 3D production will be more straightforward and reliable.
